Let’s take it back for a moment: It’s my first day of work as a graphic designer nearly two years ago, and I’m asked to complete a survey, which includes the question: Who is your favorite artist? My answer: THIS GUY. He’s a fashion photographer/stylist/editor/writer/traveler/my life dream stealer.
Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago: Scott Schuman a.k.a. The Sartorialist comes to Dallas for a book signing (for a book I pre-ordered an unhealthy three months in advance and had shipped to my house in Dallas while I was still living in DC so that it would be there waiting for me upon my arrival…a housewarming gift to myself). Scott discusses his book and answers questions and even impresses Alex (who now regularly reads men’s style blogs), and then comes the signing. I don’t remember my book being signed or what we talked about or WHY I chose to wear a t-shirt, but we chatted and it was lovely and I have this photo to prove it.
Life = complete.
