Whole30: Week 2
This week was all about shortcuts. Since I’ve already gone through one Whole30, I like to think I’m a seasoned vet. I can order quickly at restaurants, make meals in 10 minutes, and choose what to buy vs. make from scratch. Here are a few things I’ve learned (and relearned) along the way.
- Nom Nom Paleo’s Asian Meatballs — used ground turkey instead of beef and carrots instead of sweet potatoes
- Sunshine Sauce — drinkable
- Spiral Vegetable Slicer (a.k.a. The Zoodler) — great for making noodles from veggies like zucchini (zoodles) and sweet potatoes (snoodles?)
- Cuisinart Mini-Prep Food Processor — the perfect size for creating quick salsas and sauces
